Senior Network Architect
Job Purpose:
To lead the strategic planning, design, and architecture of the organization’s entire network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and future scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise network architecture roadmap.
- Design highly available, secure, and scalable network solutions (core, distribution, access).
- Lead major network transformation projects (e.g., cloud integration, network modernization).
- Define network standards, policies, and governance.
- Evaluate and select network technologies and vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network teams.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity architects to integrate security into network design.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in network design and architecture.
- Certifications: CCIE, CCDE, or equivalent required.
- Proven track record of designing large-scale enterprise networks.
- Deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SD-WAN, data center networking.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS Transit Gateway, Azure vWAN) and zero-trust architectures.
