Kitchen / Pastry / Bakery – Commis (Commis I, II, III)
Location: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain
Reports To: CDP (Chef de Partie) / Sous Chef
Job Summary:
Assist in the preparation of food, pastry, or bakery items, learning fundamental techniques and maintaining kitchen standards under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic food prep tasks as assigned by senior chefs (chopping, mixing, baking).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned section.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items (FIFO).
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
- Culinary school certification or relevant experience is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and a passion for the culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
