Contracts Manager
Purpose: To manage the entire lifecycle of FM service contracts, ensuring compliance, optimizing performance, and safeguarding the financial and operational interests of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Administer active contracts, ensuring all parties meet their obligations (SLAs, KPIs).
- Manage contract variations, claims, and change order processes.
- Monitor contract financials, including billing, payments, and cost control.
- Resolve contract-related disputes and provide guidance on contractual matters.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Conduct contract risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead contract renewal, rebidding, or termination processes.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Extensive experience in contract management within the FM, construction, or outsourcing sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law and standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and risk management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
