Engineers (Project / Design)
Job Summary: This role typically refers to Project or Design Engineers within an FM context. They are responsible for the design, specification, and project management of facility upgrades, refurbishments, and capital improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage FM-related capital projects from conception through to handover.
- Develop design specifications, technical scopes of work, and procurement documents.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and HSE compliance.
- Manage project budgets, track variations, and approve contractor invoices.
- Ensure all project documentation (O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties) is received and archived.
- Provide technical engineering solutions to operational challenges and asset replacement strategies.
