Job Title: M&E Project Manager

Purpose of the Role:
To lead, plan, and deliver M&E projects from conception to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, to the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full project lifecycle management for M&E packages (€1M - €50M+).
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with client objectives.
- Lead and coordinate the M&E design team, ensuring design meets technical, budget, and program requirements.
- Manage the procurement, appointment, and performance of M&E subcontractors and suppliers.
- Chair progress meetings, report on project status (time, cost, quality, safety), and manage stakeholder communication.
- Ensure strict compliance with all German building codes (Baurecht), technical rules (e.g., VDE, VDI), and health & safety regulations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and handover processes, including documentation (Betriebsunterlagen).
- Manage final account settlement and project close-out.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on complex construction projects in Germany.
- Strong technical understanding of both mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, BMS) and electrical (power, distribution, lighting, controls) systems.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, client management, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent German and English.
- Experience with data centre MEP is a significant advantage.
- PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
