Job Title: Electrical Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Overview:
The Electrical Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all commercial and contractual aspects of electrical packages on construction projects. Your focus will be on cost management, procurement, and financial reporting to ensure the profitability of electrical works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for electrical projects.
- Conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications (using software like iTwo, Allplan).
- Manage the procurement of materials and subcontractors, including negotiating terms.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations, applications for payment, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs).
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including payments and variations.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contract variations and claims.
- Work closely with the project manager to provide commercial forecasts and risk analysis.
- Ensure adherence to German contract law (VOB/B) and company procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed training as a Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung, Industriekaufmann, or a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or Commercial Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QS specifically within the electrical contracting sector in Germany.
- Strong proficiency in measurement, valuation, and German contractual procedures (VOB).
- Analytical mindset with excellent numerical and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in German and strong professional English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QS software.
