Job Title: Cleaner (Multiple Vacancies - 20 Positions)
Location: UAE (Specific emirate/city to be advised upon hiring)
Salary Range: AED 1000 - 1200 per month
- Note: Salary is subject to relevant deductions as per UAE law, and accommodation/transportation provisions will be clarified during the recruitment process.
Working Hours: 10 - 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on the assigned location (e.g., offices post-business hours, residential buildings, malls, or construction sites).
Nationalities Preferred: Candidates from India, Uganda, and Ghana are encouraged to apply.
Age Limit: Up to 35 years old.
Detailed Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a responsible attitude.
Key Duties:
- General Cleaning:
- Perform daily, deep, and periodic cleaning of assigned indoor and sometimes outdoor areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish hard floors and carpets.
- Dust, wipe, and polish furniture, fixtures, window sills, ledges, and all surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, and mirrors. Replenish toiletries (soap, toilet paper, towels).
- Empty all trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
- Clean glass doors, windows, and partitions using appropriate cleaners and tools.
- Perform wall cleaning and spot cleaning of walls and doors.
- May be required to assist with post-construction cleaning, which involves removing dust, debris, and adhesive residues.
- Maintenance & Stock:
- Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when stocks are low.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly, following all instructions and dilution guidelines.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, buckets) in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Wear provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves and masks as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures) to the supervisor.
- Teamwork & Conduct:
- Work effectively as part of a team under the direction of a Cleaning Supervisor/Foreman.
- Behave professionally and respectfully towards clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently within the given timeframe.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Any prior cleaning experience is acceptable. Experience in commercial cleaning, hotels, hospitals, or post-construction cleaning is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Fitness: Must be in good physical health to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
- Attributes: Honest, reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions carefully.
- Availability: Must be ready to work long hours as per the schedule.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid passport and be ready to complete necessary medical tests and visa processing as required by UAE law.
