Job Description:
We require a Senior HSE Officer to develop, implement, and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental programs on our construction site. The role is crucial for fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce site-specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures in line with UAE regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local HSE regulations (Dubai Civil Defence, DM, MOHRE).
- Monitor the use of PPE and the safety of equipment and machinery on site.
- Maintain all HSE records, permits, and documentation for audits and authority inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related matters with clients and authorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Recognized HSE certification (NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely) is mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in the UAE construction industry; high-rise project experience is strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent training, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct audits, incident investigations, and develop emergency response plans.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
