Sales Manager – HORECA (Food Industry)

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe) sales division. The ideal candidate is a hunter with a robust background in the Food Industry, specifically within Meat, Sauces, Broth, and Frozen Products. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building a high-performing sales team, and expanding our market share across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the HORECA channel to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and institutional feeders. Focus on promoting our range of Sauces, Broths, Breaded Products, Cold Cuts, and Frozen Meals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients (e.g., Executive Chefs, F&B Directors, Procurement Managers).
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives/Supervisors to ensure they meet individual and team KPIs.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and identify new product opportunities (specifically within the meat and processed food segments).
- Sales Operations: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and budgets. Ensure timely collections and adherence to company policies.
- Product Knowledge: Act as a product expert for the portfolio, understanding the technical aspects and culinary applications of breaded items, cold cuts, and frozen meals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of sales experience in the UAE/GCC, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Industry Specifics:
- Essential: Experience in the Food Industry (Wholesale / HORECA).
- Preferred: Background in the Meat Industry (processing, distribution, or trading).
- Portfolio Knowledge: Must be familiar with selling Sauces, Broth, Breaded Products (e.g., nuggets, patties), Cold Cuts, and Frozen Ready Meals.
- Licensing: Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
