Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Manager to lead our quality assurance and food safety initiatives at our Dubai facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in food manufacturing, with mandatory experience in the meat industry. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management systems to ensure all products meet the highest internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations .
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Systems & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, BRC) .
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international food safety standards .
- Oversee all quality control procedures, including inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products .
- Auditing & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and manage all internal and external audits (e.g., regulatory, customer, third-party) .
- Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) .
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing quality data and leading cross-functional initiatives .
- Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA and QC teams, ensuring daily inspections and product release procedures are followed .
- Provide training to production and QA staff on best practices, GMP, and compliance protocols .
- Supplier & Customer Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure purchased materials meet established quality standards and conduct supplier audits .
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and quality queries, managing investigations and responses .
- Laboratory & Testing Oversight:
- Oversee microbiological and physical testing of products and environmental surfaces .
- Manage the documentation and reporting of all quality activities, preparing reports for senior management .
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field .
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the food manufacturing industry .
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in the meat industry .
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role .
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and BRC standards .
- Proven experience in conducting audits and managing regulatory inspections .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills .
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, Supply Chain) .
- Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools .

- Candidates must be currently available in the UAE .
- Dubai/GCC experience is highly preferred
