Audi (VW Group) Team Leader
Location: Dubai
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audi Team Leader to provide technical assistance and leadership to Automotive Technicians in a fast-paced workshop environment in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee job allocation, complex diagnostics, and ensure all repairs meet the high standards expected of the Volkswagen Group (Audi) brand .
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Management: Implement job allocation and workflow within the team, including job scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations .
- Technical Diagnosis: Conduct systematic performance of complex fault diagnosis, evaluation, and repair processes for all Audi and VW group vehicles .
- Team Supervision: Delegate and supervise repair orders to the team, aligning jobs to the skill set and efficiency level of each technician .
- Coordination: Discuss repair requirements with the Service Advisor daily and check parts ordering status to ensure no delays .
- Quality Control: Prepare and conduct every vehicle for a final check and further quality control audit before delivery to the customer .
- Process Adherence: Promote Health and Safety rules as per company SOP and monitor warranty jobs to ensure proper handling processes are followed .
- Reporting: Review documentation to justify warranty claims, prepare reports for management review, and keep the booking system updated with vehicle progress .
- Efficiency Improvement: Increase team efficiency and optimize repair processes through the transfer of know-how and information on new technical features .
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in customer care & operations within an automotive workshop environment, with specific experience on Audi or VW Group vehicles .
- Education: Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Certification as an Automotive or Diagnostic Technician is preferred .
- Language: Proficiency in English .
- Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, ability to work under pressure, and excellent time management skills .
