Job Summary:
The Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution and optimal asset performance. The role requires strong expertise in SAP maintenance modules and scheduling tools, with hands-on experience in maintenance environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules
- Plan preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams
- Monitor work progress and update schedules accordingly
- Optimize resource allocation and manpower planning
- Generate reports and KPIs related to maintenance performance
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance planning
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Strong experience in ERP systems – SAP Maintenance Module (EAM)
- Preferably experienced in SAP S/4HANA
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Experience with scheduling tools integrated with SAP (preferred)
- Strong analytical and coordination skills
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, or heavy industry environments preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial or related field)
- Certification in Planning & Scheduling (preferred but not mandatory)
