We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Manager with a strong Civil and Marine construction background to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control functions across major infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role requires strategic oversight of quality systems, site inspections, compliance management, and team leadership to ensure all construction activities meet contractual, regulatory, and international standards.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP)
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and client specifications
- Establish quality procedures, inspection plans (ITPs), and method statements
- Lead internal and external audits
Inspection & Site Quality Control
- Oversee inspection of civil and marine construction activities
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and technical specifications
- Monitor material inspections, testing, and third-party laboratory coordination
- Review NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage QA/QC engineers and inspectors
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards and procedures
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and client representatives
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements and local regulations
- Prepare quality reports for senior management and clients
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
- Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory authorities
🔹 Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 12 years of QA/QC experience in civil & infrastructure projects
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Preferably registered Lead Auditor (IRCA / RABQSA or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of direct inspection experience in construction activities
- Marine construction experience is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and international construction standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
