Al Maharat Private School is seeking a passionate and qualified Arabic A & Islamic A Teacher to join our dedicated academic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Arabic A and/or Islamic A lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with educational standards and school policies.
- Inspire students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor student progress regularly.
- Prepare and grade assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Integrate innovative teaching strategies and technology into lessons.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Promote moral values and cultural awareness.
- Participate in curriculum development initiatives.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Support school events and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall academic program.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- Ensure classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
- Contribute to continuous school improvement efforts.
- Maintain compliance with ADEK and UAE educational regulations.
- Encourage critical thinking and active student participation.
- Uphold the school’s mission, vision, and values at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (B.Ed. / PGCE preferred).
- Previous teaching experience in the UAE is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic (and English preferred).
- Passion for teaching and student development.
