The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the complete lifecycle of the utility-scale PV solar power plant under EPC contract—from mobilization to final commissioning and handover. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, regulatory coordination, and deep technical understanding of solar plant execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead project mobilization, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Develop and monitor detailed project timelines using Primavera/MS Project.
- Ensure project delivery within approved budget and timeframes.
EPC Coordination
- Manage engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, QA/QC, HSE).
- Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and site execution.
Authority & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with DEWA / ADDC / TRANSCO and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE grid codes and connection standards.
- Manage consultant approvals and client communications.
Financial & Risk Management
- Monitor project cost, cash flow, and profitability.
- Manage variations, claims, and contract risks.
- Prepare monthly progress and financial reports.
Commissioning & Handover
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization.
- Ensure documentation completion and final client handover.
Requirements
- 10+ years of EPC experience, with 5+ years in utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Proven experience managing 50MW+ projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of substations, HV systems, and grid integration.
- PMP certification preferred.
- UAE/GCC experience mandatory.
