🔹 Role Overview
The Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children. The teacher will foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment while encouraging curiosity and creativity.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
📚 Curriculum & Lesson Planning
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the early years curriculum.
- Design creative activities that promote literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social development.
- Prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and classroom resources.
👶 Classroom Management
- Create a positive and structured learning environment.
- Maintain discipline using age-appropriate behavior management strategies.
- Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness at all times.
🧠 Child Development Support
- Monitor students’ academic and developmental progress.
- Identify learning needs and provide individualized support where required.
- Encourage creativity, exploration, and independent thinking.
🤝 Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Provide feedback and guidance to parents when necessary.
📝 Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct assessments and maintain student records.
- Prepare progress reports and developmental evaluations.
🔹 Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory).
- B.Ed. qualification (Mandatory) OR CACHE Level 3 certification (Mandatory).
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Kindergarten/Pre-KG teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Patient, caring, and enthusiastic personality.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
