CINQ Technical Services L.L.C is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai. The selected candidate will support the design, coordination, and execution of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) building services projects, particularly focusing on HVAC, drainage, and water supply systems.
This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to develop their career in the MEP and building services industry. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and drafting teams to ensure that mechanical systems are designed and implemented efficiently according to project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, water supply, and drainage.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and design documents.
- Coordinate with MEP teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the preparation of shop drawings, technical submissions, and engineering reports.
- Review drawings prepared in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination discussions.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and design conflicts during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that mechanical designs comply with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Provide technical support to site teams when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of building services mechanical systems, including HVAC, drainage, and water supply systems.
- Working knowledge of **AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, or similar design software.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented project environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCC experience is preferred, especially in building services or MEP projects.
- Familiarity with MEP design standards and coordination processes.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects is an advantage.
