Job Title: QHSE Inspector (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Inspector)
Job Summary
The QHSE Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at project sites or facilities. The role involves inspections, reporting non-conformities, supporting audits, and promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection
- Conduct inspections of materials, processes, and completed work
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Identify defects and report non-conformities (NCRs)
- Support QA/QC teams in quality control activities
Health & Safety Monitoring
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and hazard identification
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
Environmental Compliance
- Monitor environmental practices at site (waste, emissions, pollution control)
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits
- Promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly QHSE inspection reports
- Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
- Report safety violations and follow up on corrective measures
- Assist in audit preparation and execution
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with site engineers, QA/QC teams, and project managers
- Communicate safety and quality concerns to relevant departments
- Support regulatory inspections and external audits
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety / Environmental Science or related field
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in QHSE or site inspection roles
Skills
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
- Ability to identify hazards and assess risks
- Good understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred (Optional)
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification
