Job Title: Operation Executive – Dental Laboratory
Job Summary:
The Operation Executive oversees the day-to-day workflow of a dental laboratory, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery of dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, etc.). This role coordinates between dentists, lab technicians, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily lab activities and workflow
- Ensure timely processing of dental cases
- Allocate tasks to technicians based on workload and specialization
2. Coordination & Communication
- Act as a point of contact between dentists/clinics and the lab
- Track incoming and outgoing cases
- Communicate case requirements, modifications, and deadlines
3. Quality Control
- Monitor quality standards for dental products
- Ensure adherence to specifications provided by dentists
- Handle remakes, adjustments, and customer complaints
4. Inventory & Supply Management
- Maintain stock of materials (ceramics, alloys, acrylics, etc.)
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor usage and minimize wastage
5. Logistics & Dispatch
- Manage pickup and delivery schedules
- Ensure proper packaging and timely dispatch of cases
- Track shipments and resolve delays
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of cases, invoices, and client details
- Generate daily/weekly operational reports
- Monitor turnaround times and performance metrics
7. Team Supervision
- Support and guide lab technicians
- Assist in training new staff
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)
- Experience in dental lab operations or healthcare operations (1–3+ years preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and coordination ability
- Basic knowledge of dental prosthetics and lab procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office or lab management software
