Job Title: Technical Trainer
Job Summary:
The Technical Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of employees. This role ensures that staff are well-equipped to perform their roles efficiently by providing hands-on training, theoretical instruction, and continuous learning support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver technical training programs, workshops, and learning materials.
- Assess training needs and design customized training modules.
- Conduct classroom sessions, practical demonstrations, and on-the-job training.
- Evaluate trainee performance through tests, assessments, and feedback.
- Update training content based on new technologies, tools, and industry standards.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with department heads to align training with business goals.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during training.
- Support onboarding and skill development initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
- 3–7+ years of experience in a technical role, with training experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant technical domain (e.g., automotive, IT, manufacturing).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., Train-the-Trainer).
- Experience with e-learning platforms and training software.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Good organizational and planning abilities.
