Job Title: Tester
Job Summary:
The Tester is responsible for evaluating products, systems, or software to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and user requirements. The role involves identifying defects, documenting issues, and supporting the development or production team in delivering high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and perform various testing activities (manual or automated).
- Identify, document, and report defects, bugs, or quality issues.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create test plans.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and QA teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure products meet functional, performance, and quality standards.
- Maintain test records, reports, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Perform system, integration, functional, or acceptance testing as required.
- Follow safety, quality, and company standards during testing activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in testing or quality assurance roles.
- Basic understanding of testing methods and quality standards.
- Familiarity with tools or systems relevant to the industry.
