Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to lead and support Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, enhancements, integrations, and production support activities. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, technical consultants, and project managers to analyze requirements, design solutions, configure Oracle Fusion modules, and ensure successful delivery of finance transformation projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, business process knowledge, and hands-on experience across implementation lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for finance processes.
- Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules based on business needs.
- Lead workshops, CRP/UAT sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Provide functional design documents (FDD), setup documentation, and test scenarios.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions.
- Support data migration and reconciliation activities.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide production support.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, business users, and offshore/onshore teams.
- Ensure adherence to Oracle best practices and project governance.
- Participate in month-end and year-end finance process support.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer.
Required Functional Expertise
Strong experience in one or more Oracle Fusion Financials modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Expenses
- Tax
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Additional experience preferred:
- Procurement-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Revenue Management
- Financial Reporting Center (FRC)
- Smart View / OTBI / BI Publisher
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials configuration experience.
- Experience with implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.
- Ability to perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
- Knowledge of integrations with third-party systems.
- Experience with UAT support and end-user training.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Technical/Functional Knowledge
Preferred understanding of:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture
- BPM workflows
- Security roles and data access
- REST/SOAP integrations
- FBDI/ADFDI
- SQL basics
- Reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or related field.
- Oracle Fusion Financials certification preferred.
- MBA/CA/CMA/CPA is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- End-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation experience.
- Experience in global finance transformation projects.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience working with multinational clients.
