JOB DESCRIPTION – MACHINE OPERATOR / PRODUCTION OPERATOR (PLASTICS MANUFACTURING)
Position: Machine Operator / Production Operator

Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced Machine Operators / Production Operators for a plastics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery, monitoring machine performance, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Perform machine calibration, monitoring, and operational control during production
✅ Carry out machine adjustments to ensure smooth and efficient production performance
✅ Perform routine machine cleaning and maintain a clean working area
✅ Troubleshoot machine issues and carry out basic repairs when required
✅ Conduct tool and machine maintenance according to the maintenance plan
✅ Assist with tool setup, machine changeovers, and production setup activities
✅ Monitor production orders and provide feedback on order progress/status
✅ Perform product quality inspections according to company quality control instructions
✅ Identify defects, quality issues, or machine abnormalities and report immediately
✅ Follow all company safety procedures, legal regulations, and workplace safety standards
✅ Initiate escalation procedures in case of machine stoppage, safety concerns, or quality issues
✅ Refill and handle raw materials (resin), including 25kg bags, Octabins, and Big Bags
✅ Maintain accurate production and machine records where required
✅ Support continuous improvement and efficient production workflow
Requirements:
▪️ Previous experience as a Machine Operator / Production Operator in manufacturing
▪️ Plastics manufacturing/injection moulding experience preferred
▪️ Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
▪️ Experience with machine setup and maintenance support
▪️ Knowledge of quality inspection procedures
▪️ Ability to handle raw materials and perform physically active work
▪️ Understanding of workplace safety regulations
▪️ Ability to work in rotating shifts if required
▪️ Basic English communication skills
