Job Summary
The Warehouse Fulfilment Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders within the warehouse. This role involves receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and inventory management activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately according to company procedures.
- Verify order details and ensure products are correctly labeled and packaged.
- Coordinate with logistics and courier partners to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Monitor order status and resolve fulfilment discrepancies promptly.
Inventory Management
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality.
- Record inventory transactions accurately in the warehouse management system.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Report stock shortages, damages, and discrepancies to supervisors.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Support loading and unloading activities when required.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure all fulfilment activities meet quality standards.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments.
- Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures.
- Support peak-period operations and special projects as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or warehouse qualifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, order fulfilment, or logistics preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely within established guidelines.
- Forklift certification (if required by the employer) is an advantage.
