Job Summary
The Manpower Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring workforce allocation to ensure adequate staffing levels for operational and project requirements. The role involves manpower scheduling, attendance tracking, workforce deployment, employee coordination, and maintaining accurate manpower records while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Planning & Deployment
- Coordinate daily manpower allocation based on operational and project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain workforce schedules, rosters, and deployment plans.
- Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet productivity and service targets.
- Coordinate employee transfers, shift assignments, and workforce adjustments as needed.
Attendance & Workforce Management
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, absenteeism, and overtime records.
- Maintain accurate manpower databases, timesheets, and personnel records.
- Verify attendance reports and submit payroll-related information in a timely manner.
- Track workforce utilization and identify staffing gaps.
Employee Coordination
- Act as a liaison between employees, supervisors, and management.
- Address workforce-related concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.
- Support employee engagement and workforce retention initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and workplace regulations.
- Maintain personnel files, contracts, and workforce documentation.
- Assist in audits and inspections related to manpower records and compliance.
- Ensure all workforce documentation is accurate and up to date.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly manpower reports.
- Analyze workforce utilization and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Support management in manpower forecasting and workforce planning.
- Maintain records of employee performance, attendance, and deployment history.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in manpower coordination, workforce administration, HR operations, or a related role.
- Experience in construction, logistics, manufacturing, facility management, or manpower supply industries is an advantage.
