Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Bartender to join our hospitality team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering outstanding customer service. Salary
- Gross Hourly Rate: €13.312/hour
- Estimated Gross Monthly Salary: ≈ €2,307
- Estimated Gross Annual Salary: ≈ €27,689
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, coffee, and other beverages.
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Ensure beverages are prepared according to company standards.
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Verify customer identification to comply with legal-drinking-age requirements.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Valid Skills Pass Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation.
- Conversational English communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude with strong attention to detail.
- Team player with good organizational skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
