🔧🚜 HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

🛠️ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Repair and replace faulty components
• Maintain excavators, bulldozers, loaders,s and other heavy machinery
• Keep detailed maintenance and repair records
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Report potential equipment issues to management
✅ REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
🗣️ English is a MUST
📌 CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY
🇲🇹 Candidates must have a Pre-Departure Course Certificate.
🎓 Course/Certificate: Skills Pass Malta
📋 CONTRACT CONDITIONS – ALL POSITIONS
⏰ Working Hours
40 hours per week. Hours worked over 40 hrs/week (173.33 hrs/month) are paid as overtime at 1.5× the base rate.
🎁 Bonus
4 bonuses of €135 each, paid in March, June, September, er and December.
📅Probation period: 3 months' probation with a 1-year employment contract.
🏖️ Leave / Sick Leave
As per Maltese legislation:
• 24 days annual leave in addition to public holidays
• Paid sick leave up to 13 days
