Job Title: Scaffolder
Job Description:
A Scaffolder is responsible for assembling, installing, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access and working platforms for construction, maintenance, and industrial activities. The role ensures scaffolding is erected according to safety standards, project requirements, and approved procedures while maintaining a secure working environment for site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
- Install scaffolding components including tubes, boards, couplers, braces, ladders, and safety rails.
- Inspect scaffolding materials and structures before use to ensure stability and safety.
- Follow scaffolding drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Ensure scaffolding is properly secured, leveled, and suitable for intended loads.
- Perform modifications, extensions, and repairs to existing scaffolding as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and report defects, damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and work-at-height regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses, helmets, and safety gear.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and scaffolding materials in good working condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site teams to support project activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company safety policies and participate in safety meetings and training.
Qualifications:
- High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Valid scaffolding certification or training (e.g., CISRS or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Scaffolder in construction, oil & gas, industrial, or marine projects.
- Knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and safety requirements.
Required Skills:
- Ability to safely erect and dismantle different types of scaffolding.
- Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and work-at-height procedures.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and scaffolding plans.

Working Conditions:
