Job Summary
The Adjunct Faculty – Research Methods is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in research methodology, guiding students in developing research skills, and supporting academic excellence through effective teaching and mentorship. The role involves teaching research concepts, supervising student projects, and integrating practical research approaches into the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and academic sessions on Research Methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop and update course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach research design, data collection methods, qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Guide students in developing research proposals, projects, dissertations, and academic reports.
- Support students in understanding research ethics, literature reviews, and academic writing.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, presentations, examinations, and research projects.
- Provide academic mentoring and feedback to improve students’ research capabilities.
- Incorporate current research practices, tools, and industry examples into teaching.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and academic activities.
- Support institutional research initiatives and quality improvement efforts when required.
Qualifications
- PhD in Research Methods, Business Research, Management, Social Sciences, or a related discipline is required.
- Previous university-level teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience teaching postgraduate research methodology is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with academic publications and research supervision is preferred.
