A Foreman (Construction) is responsible for supervising workers and managing daily site activities to ensure construction work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workers, laborers, and subcontractor teams.
- Allocate manpower and assign tasks according to project requirements.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials on site.
- Check the quality of workmanship and ensure standards are maintained.
- Read and understand construction drawings and communicate requirements to workers.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, supervisors, and other site teams.
- Monitor material usage and avoid wastage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety rules, including proper use of PPE.
- Conduct daily briefings and guide workers on safe work practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping and organized work areas.
- Report equipment issues, material shortages, and site problems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical qualification in construction or a related field (preferred).
- Typically 5–10 years of construction experience, depending on the trade and project size.
- Experience supervising construction crews.
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and site procedures.
- UAE/GCC construction experience is often preferred.
