A Site Engineer (Construction) is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, foremen, and labor teams.
- Set out work and verify dimensions, levels, and site measurements.
- Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues at the construction site.
- Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Construction Manager, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Maintain site records, daily reports, inspection requests, and progress documentation.
- Conduct quantity measurements and assist in preparing work progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Attend site meetings and implement instructions from consultants and project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Typically 2–6 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- Experience with residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is often preferred for positions in the region.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with surveying and setting-out procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and basic project management software.
- Understanding of quality control (QA/QC) and HSE requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
