Housekeeping
Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff member to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned areas. The ideal candidate should be responsible, physically fit, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned rooms, offices, corridors, common areas, and other facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
- Clean windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, washrooms, and other designated areas.
- Maintain washrooms and ensure adequate availability of toiletries and cleaning supplies.
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, leaks, or other problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and housekeeping checklists.
- Maintain proper care and storage of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Assist with special cleaning activities when required.
- Follow company health, safety, hygiene, and environmental procedures.
- Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality when working in occupied areas.
- Perform other housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hotel, facility management, office, or similar environments is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and work for extended periods.
- Good personal hygiene and a neat appearance.
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or holidays when required.
