Job Description: Service Crew
Job Summary
The Service Crew is responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming customers, taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. The role ensures customers receive a positive dining experience while supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and process them through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, kitchen workstations, and service equipment.
- Restock food, beverages, condiments, and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints courteously, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Comply with company policies, health and safety procedures, and uniform standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
