Job Overview
We are urgently seeking 1 highly experienced Palace Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of a prestigious private palace/UHNWI residence in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of senior management experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury palace, private estate, royal household, or UHNWI environment. The Palace Manager will be responsible for ensuring the residence operates smoothly, efficiently, discreetly, and according to the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
This is a senior leadership position requiring excellent people management, organization, communication, planning, problem-solving, hospitality, and administrative skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Palace Operations Management
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth daily operation of the private palace.
- Ensure all areas of the residence are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, service, safety, and functionality.
- Develop and implement daily operating procedures and household service standards.
- Coordinate activities across housekeeping, butler service, culinary, maintenance, security, drivers, landscaping, and other support teams.
- Ensure all departments work efficiently and communicate effectively.
- Monitor the daily schedule and ensure household operations are aligned with the principal's requirements.
Staff Management & Leadership
- Recruit, supervise, train, motivate, and manage palace staff where required.
- Establish clear duties, responsibilities, schedules, and performance standards for employees.
- Prepare and monitor staff duty rosters and working schedules.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure staff maintain professional grooming, etiquette, discipline, and behavior.
- Resolve staff issues and workplace conflicts professionally.
- Coordinate with HR or management regarding recruitment, leave, attendance, disciplinary matters, and staffing requirements.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and arrange replacements when necessary.
Principal & Family Service
- Ensure the principal and family receive exceptional, personalized, and discreet service.
- Understand and anticipate the principal's preferences, routines, and requirements.
- Coordinate special requests and ensure they are handled promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of household routines and important schedules.
- Ensure the privacy, comfort, safety, and convenience of the principal and family at all times.
- Coordinate services for VIP visitors and guests.
VIP & Guest Management
- Oversee the preparation of guest rooms and entertainment areas before VIP arrivals.
- Ensure guests receive a high standard of hospitality and personalized service.
- Coordinate formal dinners, private functions, parties, family events, and special occasions.
- Work closely with butlers, chefs, housekeeping, drivers, and security teams during VIP visits.
- Ensure all guest-related requirements are handled discreetly and efficiently.
- Maintain the highest standards of etiquette and hospitality.
Housekeeping & Maintenance Oversight
- Monitor housekeeping standards throughout the palace.
- Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, guest rooms, dining areas, and other facilities are maintained properly.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and housekeeping team.
- Monitor maintenance activities and ensure repairs are completed promptly.
- Coordinate with external contractors, technicians, and service providers.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Monitor the condition of furniture, fixtures, appliances, equipment, artwork, and other valuable assets.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, maintenance companies, and service providers.
- Obtain quotations and coordinate services as required.
- Monitor contractor performance and quality of work.
- Ensure vendors follow palace security, confidentiality, and access procedures.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance, repairs, deliveries, and specialist services.
- Escalate major operational or service issues to senior management/principal's representative.
Budget & Inventory Management
- Assist with preparation and monitoring of household operational budgets.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure responsible use of household resources.
- Maintain records of household purchases and operational expenses.
- Oversee inventory of food, beverages, cleaning products, toiletries, linens, uniforms, and other supplies.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Monitor wastage and identify opportunities for cost efficiency without compromising service quality.
Security, Safety & Confidentiality
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the principal, family, guests, residence, schedules, and personal matters.
- Ensure all palace staff follow security and privacy protocols.
- Coordinate with security personnel regarding visitors, deliveries, contractors, and staff access.
- Ensure emergency procedures and safety protocols are understood and followed.
- Report incidents, accidents, security concerns, or significant operational issues immediately.
- Protect the privacy and security of the household at all times.
Events & Special Occasions
- Plan and coordinate private dinners, parties, celebrations, family gatherings, and VIP events.
- Coordinate staffing requirements, catering, decorations, transportation, housekeeping, and guest arrangements.
- Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure all areas are fully prepared.
- Supervise operations during events and ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate post-event cleaning, restoration, and inventory checks.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain operational records, schedules, staff information, supplier details, and household documentation.
- Prepare regular operational reports for management when required.
- Maintain calendars and coordinate appointments, deliveries, maintenance visits, and household activities.
- Ensure important deadlines and scheduled services are followed.
- Implement standard operating procedures and continuously improve household operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in senior hospitality or private household management.
- Previous experience as a Palace Manager, Estate Manager, Household Manager, Residence Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar senior position is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working in a 5-star hotel, palace, royal household, luxury private residence, or UHNWI environment.
- Strong leadership and team-management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and private household operations.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong knowledge of staff scheduling and operational management.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and external service providers.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
