Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and responsible Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective medical services. The successful candidate will monitor patients, administer medications, assist with treatments, maintain accurate records, and provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to their individual care plans.
- Assess patients’ health conditions and monitor vital signs and clinical changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Monitor patients’ progress and report significant changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care when required.
- Assist with wound care, dressings, injections, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, health conditions, and home care.
- Support patients with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and other daily healthcare needs when required.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of medications and medical supplies.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient handovers, nursing meetings, training, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and ethical nursing practices.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing registration/license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Previous clinical or hospital experience is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
