Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Supervisor to oversee daily site activities and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. The Supervisor will manage workers, coordinate with site engineers and management, monitor productivity and quality, and ensure compliance with company and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily work activities and assigned workforce.
- Allocate tasks to workers according to project requirements and priorities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, instructions, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor workers' productivity, attendance, and performance.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Site Managers, subcontractors, and other departments.
- Ensure required manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available for daily activities.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and report any defects or issues.
- Ensure workers follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate work instructions clearly to the workforce.
- Monitor proper use of PPE and ensure safe working practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions at the work area.
- Report daily work progress, manpower requirements, delays, and site issues to management.
- Identify and resolve routine site problems and escalate technical or operational issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with other teams to avoid work conflicts and delays.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used properly and efficiently.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize unnecessary wastage.
- Assist engineers and management during inspections and site activities.
- Maintain basic site records, attendance sheets, work reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure work is completed within the required schedule and quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma, technical qualification, or relevant vocational certification is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant supervisory experience, preferably in construction, engineering, maintenance, or site operations.
- Good knowledge of site activities and work procedures.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a workforce effectively.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a site environment.
