Job Description — Showroom Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Showroom Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, drive sales performance, manage the sales team, and ensure an excellent customer experience. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining showroom standards, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and ensuring smooth overall showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the showroom.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the showroom sales team.
- Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Handle customer enquiries, product presentations, quotations, negotiations, and sales closures.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, and other business clients where applicable.
- Ensure the showroom is properly displayed, organized, clean, and maintained at all times.
- Ensure products, samples, catalogues, displays, and promotional materials are properly presented.
- Monitor showroom stock, samples, display materials, and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, logistics, accounts, and project teams for smooth order processing and delivery.
- Follow up on quotations, pending orders, payments, and customer requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and showroom performance reports.
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Implement promotional activities and showroom campaigns as directed by management.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Ensure company sales policies, pricing procedures, and approval processes are followed.
- Maintain proper customer records and sales documentation.
- Train new sales staff on products, sales procedures, customer service, and showroom standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and showroom procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in showroom management, retail sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Previous experience managing a sales team is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, customer relationship management, and retail operations.
- Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and sales/CRM software.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work in a target-driven environment.
