Logistics Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing complex warehouse and transportation activities, coupled with strong expertise in Third-Party Logistics (3PL) contract management. This role is critical for ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and superior service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and slotting strategies to maximize space utilization.
- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and robust inventory control procedures.
- Manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Transportation & Distribution Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of goods via road, and potentially air/sea, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage fleet operations (owned or contracted), including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and driver scheduling.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively communicate with customers and sales teams.
- Resolve any transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, or customs clearances.
3. 3PL Contract & Operations Management:
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and onboarding process for new 3PL partners.
- Manage and govern relationships with existing 3PL providers, ensuring they meet all contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PL partners, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement.
- Handle contract renewals, renegotiations, and terminations as necessary.
4. Operational Excellence & Reporting:
- Utilize MS Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas) to analyze logistics data, track KPIs, and generate performance reports for management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction across the supply chain.
- Develop and implement new logistics strategies and SOPs to enhance operational resilience.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, costs, and project updates using MS Word and PowerPoint.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a logistics management role, with direct responsibility for both Warehouse and Transportation operations.
- 3PL Expertise: Demonstrable strong experience in managing 3PL contracts, vendor relations, and operations.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel & Word) is mandatory. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.

- Age: Preferably between 30 - 35 years old.
- Background: Ideal candidates will currently be employed in or have recent experience with top-tier logistics providers such as Starlink, Wared, or similar national/international logistics companies.
