Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating with various teams, tracking project progress, and ensuring that all project administration is handled efficiently. The Project Coordinator will be the central point of communication for project-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning Support: Assist in the development of project plans, scope, and schedules. Help define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a communication bridge between project managers, team members, and stakeholders. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, and distribute minutes and action items.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports. Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Resource & Task Tracking: Monitor project progress and track team tasks using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project). Identify and help resolve bottlenecks or delays.
- Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints. Process related invoices and purchase orders.
- Risk & Issue Management: Help identify potential project risks and issues. Maintain a risk and issue log and follow up on mitigation actions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are submitted on time.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a field related to the industry (e.g., Engineering, IT).
- 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
