Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic Operations Supervisor to oversee our daily operational activities. You will be responsible for managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring that operational goals for safety, quality, and productivity are met. This leadership role requires a hands-on manager who can drive efficiency, solve problems, and inspire their team to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Directly supervise, mentor, and coach a team of operations staff. Manage work schedules, assign tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory levels, coordinate with the warehouse, and ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods. Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and accuracy. Report on operational performance to senior management.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly and effectively, minimizing disruption to the business.
- Budget Adherence: Assist in developing the operations budget and ensure departmental activities remain within budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of operational procedures and best practices.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
