Job Title: Barista

Reports To: F&B Manager / Café Supervisor
Salary: SAR 2,500 per month + Accommodation
Job Purpose:
To prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, primarily coffee and tea, to the highest quality standards. The Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work station, and contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations. Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Quality Control: Ensure all beverages are made to the highest quality and consistency. Taste products regularly for quality assurance.
- Station Management: Set up, maintain, and clean the coffee bar area, equipment, and seating section. Ensure all machinery (espresso machines, grinders, etc.) is operational and report any maintenance issues.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels of coffee beans, tea, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain excellent knowledge of all coffee blends, brewing methods, and ingredients to educate customers and enhance their experience.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and maintain overall cleanliness of the café.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not essential; training may be provided to a candidate with a strong passion for coffee.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
