Landscape Foreman (Grade 4)
Basic Monthly Salary: 7,000 SAR
Job Summary:
The Landscape Foreman is a leadership role responsible for directly supervising a crew of landscape attendants and technicians. This position plans, coordinates, and executes daily landscaping operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman serves as the crucial link between management and the crew on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crew Supervision: Direct, assign, and supervise the daily tasks of the landscaping crew. Provide training and guidance to new and existing employees.
- Quality Control: Inspect all work performed by the crew to ensure it meets established quality and aesthetic standards.
- Work Planning: Plan the day's work schedule, organize necessary materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure the crew is fully briefed on their tasks and safety requirements.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of communication for the crew, reporting daily progress, issues, and manpower needs to the Landscape Manager or Superintendent.
- Safety Enforcement: Enforce strict compliance with all company safety policies and procedures on the job site. Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues in the field, such as irrigation breaks, pest outbreaks, or client requests, and implement effective solutions.
- Performance Management: Monitor crew performance, provide constructive feedback, and document any performance or disciplinary issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in horticulture or landscape management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscape maintenance and/or construction, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and turf management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read landscape plans and drawings.
- Proficiency with basic business software for reporting timekeeping and material usage.
- Valid driver's license is typically required
