Service Engineer (Pumps)
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Salary Range: 7,000 SAR - 9,000 SAR
Job Summary:
The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing expert technical service, maintenance, and repair for various types of pumps used in the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal and other pumps.
- Diagnose pump failures, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
- Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting of pump systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and workshop teams.
- Prepare detailed service reports, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
- Ensure all service activities comply with company and client HSE standards.
- Manage service inventory and spare parts requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 2-3 years of specialized hands-on experience in pump repair and service.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Preferred OEM Experience: Prior working experience with major pump manufacturers such as Flowserve, KEPL, SPP Pumps, Sulzer Pumps, or Sundyne is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pump assembly/disassembly, alignment, and seal systems.
