QC Engineer – Electrical
💰 Salary Package: 9,500 SAR + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)
Job Summary:
The QC Engineer – Electrical will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installation and commissioning activities on the project adhere to the highest quality standards, project specifications, and Aramco's stringent codes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the project Quality Control Plan for all electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations, including HV/LV systems, cabling, earthing, lighting, and panel installations.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Witness and document all electrical tests (e.g., IR, continuity, HV testing) and ensure compliance.
- Manage and report non-conformances, and track the closure of corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the client's (Aramco) quality representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality records, reports, and certificates.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project HSE requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a QC electrical role, specifically within the GCC.
- Proven experience with electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, SASO).
- Previous Aramco approval is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
