Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee all F&B operations for our prestigious 5-star hotel in Madinah. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex F&B departments, with a particular emphasis on world-class banquet and event operations. This role demands a hands-on visionary who can drive revenue, ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Financial Management:
- Develop and execute the annual F&B business plan and budget.
- Drive revenue maximization and profit margins across all outlets (restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, etc.).
- Analyze financial reports, monitor budgets, and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
- Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Banquet & Event Operations:
- Provide direct oversight and leadership for the hotel's large banquet operations, including conferences, weddings, and gala events.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Events teams to plan and execute flawless events, from proposal to completion.
- Ensure all banquet services meet the highest standards of presentation, timing, and guest experience.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring consistency and the highest level of service.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all service areas.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, diverse F&B team, including managers, chefs, and service staff.
- Drive a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance reviews, and career development plans for the department.
- Guest Experience & Quality Assurance:
- Actively seek and respond to guest feedback to continuously enhance the F&B offering.
- Maintain the hotel's reputation by ensuring all F&B services are of a 5-star standard.
- Resolve any guest complaints promptly and effectively.
- Concept Development & Innovation:
- Contribute to the creation of new F&B concepts, menus, and promotional activities to keep the offerings fresh and competitive.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, with a significant portion within 5-star international hotel chains.
- Mandatory and proven experience in managing large and high-volume banquet operations.
- Previous experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is a strong advantage.
- Must be available to join and relocate within 45 to 60 days.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits
- Basic Salary: SAR 20,000 per month
