Furniture / FF&E Estimator

Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Furniture/FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of FF&E packages, ensuring profitability and alignment with project specifications and client budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) to prepare detailed cost estimates for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Source and solicit quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors locally and internationally.
- Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare comprehensive and well-structured tender submission documents.
- Liaise with the design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
- Maintain and update a database of supplier costs, material prices, and labor rates.
- Assist in the preparation of variation orders and change management documentation during project execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an FF&E Estimator, Cost Consultant, or in a similar role within the interior design, fit-out, or furniture manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and ID drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Strong knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and international sourcing.
- Experience with estimating software and advanced skills in MS Excel are essential.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
