Business Analyst
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. They are responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements to ensure the final technical solution delivers tangible business value and meets user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis to understand and document business processes, needs, and challenges.
- Create clear and detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and User Stories with acceptance criteria.
- Model business processes (using BPMN, flowcharts) and data flows to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and developers to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
- Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze and document system integration requirements and business rules.
- Support change management by helping users understand new systems and processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Understanding of basic software development concepts and data structures.
- CBAP or similar certification is an advantage.
