QA/QC Manager – 1
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Job Purpose: To establish, implement, and manage the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved materials, and relevant local/international standards (e.g., Abu Dhabi Municipality, ISO 9001).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Lead all internal and external quality audits (client, consultant, regulatory bodies) and manage the non-conformance reporting (NCR) process.
- Oversee the QA/QC Inspectors, ensuring systematic inspection of materials, workmanship, and methodologies.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and material inspection requests.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
- Analyze quality performance data and report to senior management with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and traceable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) preferred.
- Minimum 12-15 years in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on major construction projects in the UAE/GCC.
- In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and regulations.
