QA/QC Inspector (Civil / Electrical)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: AED 7,500 per month (subject to qualifications and experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector with a specialization in Civil or Electrical disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction and installation activities comply with project specifications, company standards, and international quality codes within the oil & gas sector. GCC experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of civil (e.g., structural, foundations, buildings) and/or electrical (e.g., cable laying, equipment installation, lighting, earthing) works on-site.
- Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures.
- Conduct material inspections to ensure compliance with Material Approval Requests (MAR) and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, procedures, and safety standards.
- Document all inspection activities, prepare detailed reports (IRNs, NCRs), and maintain accurate quality records.
- Witness and verify testing (e.g., concrete tests, cable meggering, continuity tests) and calibration of equipment.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and project management teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Ensure all non-conformities are identified, reported, and tracked through to corrective action closure.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality among all site personnel.
Mandatory Requirements
- Education: B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on QA/QC inspection experience in the oil & gas field.
- Regional Experience: Proven work experience in the GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain) is mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, IEC, BS, API).
- Certifications: Relevant ISO 9001 or lead auditor certifications are a strong advantage. Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong reporting skills, and the ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
- Status: Must be currently available in the UAE and eligible for immediate joining.
