Role Overview
As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and successful project delivery. You will work closely with project teams to drive planning, monitoring, reporting, and decision-making processes, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present planning and progress reports to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution.
- Analyze project risks and opportunities related to schedule and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support tendering processes by providing planning input and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to project timelines and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior planning staff as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in planning within the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
